B.Tech admission should not start with only a college name. Students should first check branch fit, yearly fee, hostel cost, admission route, location comfort and placement support.
For Bihar and Jharkhand students, the real comparison is total first-year cost, travel distance, hostel availability and whether the college has the branch you can continue for four years.
Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, ECE, EEE and emerging branches can all be useful, but the right choice depends on interest, academic profile and budget. A weaker branch fit in a famous college can become difficult later.
Before applying, shortlist three to five colleges. Compare eligibility, entrance requirement, direct admission rules, refund policy, hostel quality, placement support and parent visit feasibility.
Admission Core counsellors can help students create a realistic shortlist and understand which colleges match their course, city, fee and hostel needs.
